Proposals for the future of a Grade II listed park are set to be revealed today.
Wanstead Park, the garden for mansion Wanstead House in the 17th and early 18th centuries, was placed on the “at risk” register of English Heritage in 2009.
City of London Corporation, which owns the park, has drafted proposals for enhancing the park’s landscape, historic features, wildlife habitats and visitor facilities.
These proposals will be revealed today when a public consultation is launched.
People will be able to have their say on proposals until March 8 and results will be published by the end of March.
