PITTSTON — Cooper’s Seafood Waterfront, a staple of Greater Pittston for decades, is for sale — and may soon close.
An employee at the restaurant confirmed to the Times Leader this morning that the Pittston restaurant, located at 304 Kennedy Blvd., is on the market. Another employee said the company’s plan is to close the Pittston location after it is sold.
Atlas Realty Inc. has listed the building for $1.5 million. Sale of the 13,689-square-foot facility includes almost all contents of the restaurant, including its liquor license, according to the listing. Some decor items are being excluded from the sale.
The restaurant sits on 0.8 acres.
Cooper’s has another location in Scranton, Cooper’s Seafood House, that is not for sale.
