A Stoke Goldington pub has been put up for sale just two years after being refurbished and rebranded.

The Malting House, in the village’s High Street, has been listed for sale for £590,000 by Taylor Co Property Consultants.

The pub recently closed due to ‘staff shortages’, but it has now been listed on Right Move.

The description states: “The property is throughout in very good order having been bought and totally refurbished some two years ago.

“In brief these works included a large of amount of building work that improved the electrics, plumbing, decoration, furniture as well as newly fitted out a cellar and a commercial Kitchen.

“We consider this slightly unusual an opportunity given the completeness of the Public House as going concern, we believe it is priced conservatively in the market place and we would fully encourage parties interested in running their own business or investing to take a good look around.”

Before becoming The Malting House, the pub was known as The White Hart.
