“Selling your unwanted gifts can be a good way of avoiding the
embarrassment of asking for a receipt.”

The company estimates that 2.7m people will list unwanted gifts in the next
few weeks and said that last year the average price of unwanted gifts put up
for sale was £28.27.

According to eBay, the top 10 items listed for sale during Christmas Day were:
