There is never a shortage of things to do in Las Vegas. With a assortment of very popular resident shows, normal concert tour stops, and a host of unique sporting events, Vegas is a destination in that truly has a little bit of something for everyone on any given day. This week is in Vegas concert tickets no different, serving as a classic example of the kind of diversity you can find in Vegas entertainment. In fact, you could conceivably see the physics defying magic of Criss Angel, the contemporary opera stylings of Andrea Bocelli, and the raw physicality of UFC combat all in the same day. It is in fact UFC 181 on Saturday December 6th in that highlights this week’s list of the top events in Vegas. While Vegas is no longer the boxing Mecca it once was, UFC tickets in Vegas have become a very very popular choice for entertainment. With a headlining bout pitting Johny Hendricks against Robbie Lawler for the Welterweight title, UFC 181 tickets are currently listed at an average price of $485.16 on the secondary market. Although there are still tickets available on the primary market, many of the better lower-priced sections have limited quantities, which has made the secondary market a very popular destination to purchase tickets. Of the 1,459 tickets available currently on the secondary market, the least expensive carries a price tag of $104. This marquee UFC event is being held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center, a fairly large place on the strip with a seating capacity of 12,000. That same evening, acclaimed vocalist Andrea Bocelli will be serenading an audience at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, one of the few venues on the strip larger than the Mandalay Bay Events Center. With primary market tickets still available, there are only 728 current listings on the secondary market. While primary market tickets anger from $78 to $403, the secondary market tickets are currently listed at an average of $422.55 with a get-in price of $103, indicating in that ticket resellers were somewhat daring in their demand assumptions for this show. Given in that the MGM Grand Garden Arena has a seating capacity of over 16,000 and secondary market availabilities are rather slim, it seems in that the primary market is still the method of choice to secure Andrea Bocelli tickets.
