PESHAWAR: The search committee constituted for appointment of the principal of the Edwardes College Peshawar was held at the University of Peshawar on Wednesday to short-list candidates for the job.
UoP vice-chancellor Professor Mohammad Rasul Jan chaired the meeting, according to a press release.
It was decided that short-listing of the applicants would be based on the marks obtained according to the set criteria, whereas only the short-listed candidates would be called for interview.
The meeting decided that a panel of three short-listed candidates would be sent to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor for picking the most suitable person for appointment as principal Edwardes College Peshawar.

The meeting was attended by secretary higher education Ms Farah Hamid, deputy secretary to governor Attaullah Shah, vice chancellor Haripur University Professor Naseer Ali Khan and nominee of the Peshawar Bishop.
