Yachtzoo, a world leader in superyachts for charter and sale, is listing the H. Gary Morse-owned “Cracker Bay” motor yacht for sale at $21 million, the website boatinternational.com is reporting.

The yacht was in the news a little more than two years ago when it reportedly hosted a reception in St. Petersburg for then-presidential candidate Mitt Romney during the Republican National Convention in Tampa. The yacht flies the flag of the Cayman Islands and Romney had faced criticism for reportedly having investments there.

According to a story at the time in The Washington Post , “The floating soiree featured a speech by Virginia Gov. Robert F. McDonnell (R) and was attended by shopping center magnate Mel Sembler, energy billionaire Wilbur Ross and several dozen others who have raised more than $1 million each for Romney’s presidential effort…”

The Post also noted the connection to the developer of The Villages, saying Morse’s “companies and relatives have funneled more than $1.5 million to Romney and his allies.”

Yachtzoo’s listing states the 146 foot-long yacht, built in 2002 by the Hakvoort Shipyard in the Netherlands and refitted last year, has a range of 5,000 miles. It can sleep 12 guests in six staterooms, not including 12 crew members in five crew cabins.

Some features of the steel and teak yacht include a Jacuzzi up front and a dumbwaiter to access the below deck walk-in freezer and walk-in refrigerator. The owner’s suite comes complete with an office and a fireplace, according to the listing.

The tri-deck yacht also comes with two tenders, a pair of 18-foot Nautical boats with 115-hp outboard motors, the listing states.

The Cracker Bay has been spotted throughout the Caribbean over the years. Last year it was spotted in Seattle, where the Puget Sound Business Journal reported its crew spent $30,000 topping off its fuel tanks before heading to Alaska.

The yacht is currently docked in Ft. Lauderdale, where Yachtzoo has its U.S. office. Its other office is in Monaco.
