This throwback monstrosity is supposedly the Porsche Design BlackBerry P’9983, a phone that’ll combine a 720 x 720 pixel 3.1-inch display with 2GB of RAM and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. Shame it looks like… that.

BBIN‘s supposed spec sheet for the P’9983 claims the latest BB QWERTY phone will arrive with a 2100mAh removable battery, dual cameras (2MP and 8MP), 64GB of onboard storage and version 10.3 of the BB10 OS.

Given that the super-rich have moved on to crystal-covered iPhones, we can’t see this mid-range rebranding job doing BlackBerry any huge favours. Unless having thousands of people saying “WTF?” on the internet is considered a social media win, in which case… well done. [BBIN via Phone Arena]
