Actor Wilford Brimley, known as much for his signature handlebar mustache as for his notable roles in such films as “Cocoon,” has listed his 276-acre ranch in Greybull, Wyo., for sale at $1.25 million.
Brimley, feigning the bright light of Hollywood for a more pastoral setting, has made the ranch his home for a number of years, using the property to raise horses and cattle as well as to host rodeo events.
Found at the base of the Bighorn Mountains, the property includes a number of historic structures, including a three-bedroom house built in 1950, a two-bedroom log cabin built in 1946 and a blacksmith’s cabin, which the owner is seen using in the listing photos.
Among its horse facilities, the ranch counts an arena, a loafing shed with horse runs and a 3,600-square-foot cinder block shop. Additional ancillary structures include corrals, tool sheds and a grain bed.
Randy Shelton of Hall and Hall is the listing agent.
