Lacka Foods has launched seven milk-based protein drink brands in Tesco.
Rolling out now to 500 stores under six brands including UFit, USlim and Go health, they are aimed at a range of consumers including gym goers and dieters and each come in two flavours – strawberry and chocolate (rsp: £1.50 to £3.75). The seventh brand is breakfast drink B-Fast Breakfast, which will also be available in banana and is a larger-format version of the Be Fast breakfast drink sold by Lacka in Asda.
All the drinks are ambient but will be merchandised in chillers rather than the sports drinks fixture to boost visibility to mainstream shoppers, said Lacka.
