A retailer seems to have given away yet another video game secret, with new versions of the GTA-esque Hong Kong adventure spotted.
This time it’s not Amazon giving the game way, but ShopTo. Who listed Sleeping Dogs HD, complete with box art, before quickly taking it down again.
The listing offered no information on the game, other than it’s out on November 21 and will cost £44.84 (down from an RRP of £54.99).
Although a next gen version of the game has never been rumoured before Square Enix is planning a follow-up called Triad Wars and this would be a useful way to keep the series in the public eye.
The original last gen version was released in 2012 and in the UK became the 20th best-selling game of the year, and the number one new IP.
Almost nothing is known about Triad Wars, other than it’s also by developer United Front Games. It wasn’t mentioned at E3 but then Square Enix had an extremely quiet show in general, and are rumoured to be planning their own reveal event for later this year.
