The early lines are in — and the Michigan football team, at least in early June anyway, sits as an underdog in its two main Big Ten rivalry games.
The Golden Nugget released dozens of 2014 college football lines Friday afternoon, including a handful of Michigan games.
Of note — Michigan was listed as an eight-point underdog in its annual rivalry tilt against Ohio State, held this year on Nov. 29 in Columbus, Ohio. The Wolverines were also listed as a 7 1/2-point underdog against rival Michigan State. That game kicks Oct. 25 in East Lansing.
The Wolverines’ other big road tilt for 2014 comes at Notre Dame — Michigan is listed as a three-point underdog in that game, held Sept. 6 in South Bend, Ind.
Michigan was listed as a favorite in a trio of Big Ten games — the Wolverines are presently 7-point favorites against Penn State (home, Oct. 11) and three-point favorites at Northwestern (Nov. 8). Michigan is also a 12-point favorite for its home game against Minnesota on Sept. 27.
