Lava Iris 350M Now Available Online; Iris 402e Listed on Company’s Site

It
seems that Indian smartphone manufacturer Lava is gearing up to launch
two new budget smartphones – the Lava Iris 350M and Lava Iris 402e – as
both devices have now been listed online.

While there is
no official word on the announcement, the Lava Iris 402e has been
listed on the
company’s official site without price and availability, while the Lava
Iris 350M
is now available for purchase via an online retailer at a
discounted price for Rs. 3,329 (MRP is listed at Rs. 3,949).

According
to the retailer listing, the 2G dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) supporting Lava Iris
350M runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The Iris 350M features a 3.5-inch
HVGA (320×480 pixel) display and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core
(unspecified chipset) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.

The
Iris 350M comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera along with LED flash
support and there is a VGA (0.3-megapixel) front-facing camera. It
supports an additional 32GB expansion via microSD card, with 512MB of
inbuilt storage already on the device.

The Lava Iris 350M
packs a 1200mAh Li-Ion battery and is 10.2m in thickness with a weight
of 80 grams. It is listed
at Homeshop 18 in a Black colour variant.

On the other
hand, from official listing’s specifications, the Lava Iris 402e runs on
the now-dated Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean, and comes with dual-SIM
(WCDMA+GSM) standby support.

The Iris 402e features a
4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixel) display and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core
(unspecified chipset) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.

The
Iris 402e comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera along with no LED flash
support and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The handset supports an
additional 32GB storage expansion via microSD card, with 512MB of
inbuilt storage on the device, of which only 130MB will be available to
users. Various connectivity options on the Lava Iris 402e include
Bluetooth, EDGE, GPRS, Wi-Fi (including hotspot functionality), and GPS.

The
Lave Iris 402e packs a 1450mAh Li-Ion battery that can offer up to 9
hours and 40 minutes (2G) of talk time, and 200 hours of standby time.
The smartphone measures 126x65x10.35mm and weighs 100 grams.
