SBA Street Wise
Street Wise is a free learn-to-skate program delivered by Skateboarding Australia.
The team works with young people of all skill levels to encourage total beginners to step on a board for the first time. Skateboards and helmets supplied. June 28, Oakey Skate Park, Campbell St, Oakey.
Midnight basketball
Midnight Basketball is a free, eight-week basketball program for 12 to 18 year-olds. The program provides a nutritious meal, life skills and a series of basketball games until midnight.

PCYC youth group
PCYC Toowoomba holds a free youth group for people aged 12-17 every Friday night.
Activities can include social sports, team-building activities, life skills workshops or just sitting around eating pizza and having a laugh. The weekly group kicks off at 6.30pm Fridays. For more information ring the PCYC on 4632 8316.

Pilot lessons
Pilot is an exciting partnership between Toowoomba Youth Service and No Comply Studios that aims to provide legal wall space for aerosol art and lessons from local experts.

Skate party
Youth Connect has teamed up with Skate City to kick off regional skate parties.
These free roller skate and inline skate parties provide a DJ, free entry, free equipment hire, games, music and more.
There will be one on at Cecil Plains on June 12 from 5.30-8pm and another on June 19 at Gowrie Junction. The following week there will be one on at Highfields.
Mayoral skate comp
The Mayoral Skate Competition is open to entrants aged 12 to 15 years. Come on down and enjoy a day of sick tricks, prizes and heaps of fun.
It will be held on June 14 from 10am-3pm at Crows Nest Skate Park on Recreation Tce.
Yari urban art
This program is part of a graffiti prevention strategy and allows young people to express themselves through a series of art-based workshops and involvement in large mural art.
They not only learn art skills, but also basic business negotiations, budgeting, design, layout and graffiti laws. It is held at Toowoomba Youth Service, 201 Hume St.
