The Grinnell Senior Center, 631 Bluff St., Beloit, will hold the following activities and events for June. To register for these events, call 608-364-2875 by the dates given below.
•Wisconsin Dells Ho Chunk Trip—Monday, June 9. There are only six seats open on the bus that leaves Grinnell Hall at 9 a.m. The cost is $17. Each person who attends will receive $15 in players credits from HoChunk. Meals are on your own. The trip is open to the public.
•How Essential Oils Help You—Thursday, June 5, at 10:30 a.m. The speaker is Bev Newcomber. There is no cost, but pre-registration is required.
•Luau, Dance and Ugly Hawaiian Shirt Contest—Thursday, June 12, beginning at 10 a.m. with bingo. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. Live music with Bahama Bob begins at 1 p.m. Judging for the ugly Hawaiian shirt contest begins at 2 p.m. with prizes in several categories. The event is free, but there is a suggested donation of $3.25 for lunch.
Pre-registration for lunch must be made by June 9.
