Bangor City manager Nev Powell and Airbus UK Broughton boss Andy Preece have been short-listed for the Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League Manager of the Year award which will be announced next Saturday.
Former Wrexham defender Declan Walker, snapped up by Powell at the beginning of last season, is among the contenders for the Young Player accolade while Bala’s Mark Connolly and Tom Field of Airbus are in the running for the Player of the Year award.
The awards evening is being staged at The Towers Hotel in Swansea.
Young Player:

Player of the Season:
Mark Connolly (Bala Town), Christian Doidge (Carmarthen Town), Tom Field (Airbus UK Broughton), Sam Finley (The New Saints), Chris Venables (Aberystwyth Town).
Manager of the Season:
Mark Aizlewood (Carmarthen Town), Craig Harrison (The New Saints), Neville Powell (Bangor City), Andy Preece (Airbus UK Broughton).
Welsh Premier Women’s Player of the Year:
Sarah Adams (Swansea City, Katrina French (PILCS), Laura May Walkley (Cardiff Metropolitan).
