Revisit the glory days of Bobby, Nobby and the Charltons in this gem of a show by Carl Heap and Tom Morris, which started life at Battersea Arts Centre and now returns reworked – and not before time – in Bristol. ■ Ming: the Golden Empire Ming in Mandarin means bright or brilliant, and the art of the eponymous Chinese dynasty was certainly that. Edinburgh has claimed the only British showing for this rare exhibition of artefacts from the Nanjing Museum. Expect exquisite blue-and-white porcelain and many treasure besides. ■ Port Eliot festival Like festivals? Like Grade-I listed houses and gardens? Then Cornwall’s annual literary, musical and floral jamboree is for you.
