Grand Ronde
Memorial Day Observance. Twelve names will be added this year to the memorial, bringing the total number of names to 2,278. Grand Ronde drummers will perform a memorial song. 21st annual Memorial Day Pilot Tribute honoring Oregon military and civilian aviators who have made their final flight in the past year. The Jefferson Cemetery Commission along with the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4065 and Auxiliary will hold a ceremony to honor all men and women who have given their time and lives serving our country. The veterans group will conduct a flag raising ceremony and flag salute. “The Star Spangled Banner” will be sung and “Taps” will be played.
