Coulsty made a winning return to action at Newmarket, when gutsily landing the Tamdown King Charles II Stakes under Sean Levey.

The 16/1 chance was soon to the fore from the stalls, but travelled nicely on his first start for nearly nine months.
Clearly headed as the likes of Toofi and Windfast threw down their challenges, his goose looked cooked but Levey had kept a little more up his sleeve and at the line Coulsty was back on top again, scoring by half a length from Toofi.
Windfast narrowly held off Parbold, whose jockey Freddy Tylicki was forced to stop riding for a few strides at the furlong-pole as a gap between the winner and Toofi closed up, but who finished fast and might well have been second in a few more strides.
Mark Smyly, representing winning trainer Richard Hannon, said: “It’s a bit of a surprise to win first time out but he is a horse who keeps himself on the go at home.”
Levey added: “He ran a bit fresh early but he overcame that – it was a good performance. He is a speedy horse and the better ground suits him.”
The victory played a substantial in ensuring that the Scoop6 rolled over for another week, with the number tickets alive after just three legs of the bet reducing from 7,865 to just 283 after this contest.
