The Salvation Army Somerset Service Center will be holding its 12th annual fishing derby from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 17. The event will take place at the Laurel Ridge Sportsman’s Association Inc., 2908 Coxes Creek Road, Somerset. Children between the ages of 3-16 are invited to participate in the event. Trophies and prizes will be awarded for biggest bass, crappie, bluegill, catfish and trout. The registration fee per child includes lunch sponsored by the Laurel Ridge Sportsman’s Association Inc.
