The front cab of an old Disney World monorail was listed for sale on eBay and a couple potential buyers have come forward.
The auction for the Mark IV red Monorail car ended on Wednesday, with an asking price of $189,000. There were 66 offers made, and two prospective buyers are negotiating with the seller, Theme Park Connection.

Brian Ramsey from Theme Park Connection said they bought the car from Disney 12 years ago, and the console, doors and seating are all still intact.
It currently sits in Tyrone, Ga., about 30 minutes from Atlanta.
“For a while, we had it on display in one of our warehouses. It’s been in a couple of parades in Georgia. It’s been in a couple of Disney events,” he said.

The Mark IV cars were used from the resort’s opening in 1971 until 1989.
Ramsey says most of the cars were destroyed, but this one is in great condition and ready to be taken off the lot.
“It weighs 33,000 pounds. It’s already mounted on a fix to the trailer. It’s street-ready to go,” he said.
So what would you do with the cab? Ramsey has some ideas.
“Somebody could use it to make a motorhome, to take it camping. You could redo the interior, make it a hotel. You could make it a bar on your back deck,” he said.
This is the second-biggest item the company has sold.
The most expensive was a complete replica of the Disneyland Haunted Mansion for $899,000.
