GameStop has listed details for a Watch Dogs season pass, stating that Ubisoft will release an additional playable character with their own suite of story missions as DLC for the upcoming open-world title.
The Watch Dogs season pass (spotted by AGB) is priced at $19.99, and is said to contain more missions, weapons, and exclusive content. Ubisoft will also likely sell the content in individual packs, as GameStop states that buying the season pass is 30 percent cheaper than purchasing individually.
Ubisoft previously offered a similar initiative for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, which featured its own mini-campaign where players took the role of protagonist Edward Kenway’s first mate Adewale.
Watch Dogs animation director Colin Graham previously said that the power of the PlayStation 4 gave the developers “a chance to dream”. Perhaps they dreamed about making DLC?
Ubisoft has not officially announced a Watch Dogs season pass.
Watch Dogs will be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on May 27. The publisher yesterday confirmed that the PC version will require Uplay.
