Waltham Forest Town Hall, Chingford and Leytonstone war memorials have all been listed by English Heritage

The Chingford War Memorial, along with two others in Waltham Forest, was given Grade II status by English Heritage.

The last war memorials in Waltham Forest given Grade II status by English Heritage were officially listed this month.

English Heritage plans to list 500 memorials each year over the First World War centenary period of 1914 to 1918.

The memorial at the town hall in Forest Road, Walthamstow, was officially listed this month, while the Chingford War Memorial, at the junction of Kings Head Hill and The Ridgeway, and Leytonstone War Memorial and Gardens, in Leytonstone High Road, were both listed in January.
