Here’s what’s coming up at the Colonial Club:
Monday, March 24
Crowd favorite pot roast is on the menu for lunch today. It comes with mashed potatoes, peas, dinner roll and a peanut butter cookie. Anyone is welcome to enjoy the noon meal. Call the office at (608) 837-4611 by the previous Friday at noon if you plan on attending. Cost of the meal is $7.50 for those under 60 and a suggested minimum donation of $4, or pay what you can afford, for those 60 or older.
Tuesday, March 25
Health fair in the Cremer Auditorium. Stop in any time between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. for free giveaways, drawings, health snacks and free presentations. More than 35 companies will be represented and have useful information on how to be and stay healthy.
Wednesday, March 26
Do you enjoy line dancing? Classes for beginners and advanced students are held every Wednesday evening starting at 6 p.m. The cost is $5 a lesson. Contact Laura at (608) 837-4611 if you would like more information.
Thursday, March 27
Book club meets at 1 p.m. and will be discussing the book, “Faith Club.” Interested in being part of this monthly group? Contact the main office at (608) 837-4611 or drop in at 1 p.m. to meet others interested in literature, discussion and friendship.
Friday, March 28
Several activities start at 10 a.m. including Wii Bowling, Pinochle and Bean Bag Toss. Just drop in on Friday to participate in any of these activities.
Did you know?
Tucked inside the Colonial Club is an amazingly large woodshop decked out with all the tools you might need, including a drill press, lathe, table saw and many others woodworking tools. Call Todd at (608) 837-4611, ext. 114, for more information and a tour.
