Temporary structure specialist Neptunus has been short-listed for the ‘Best Supplier to Organisers’ title at the 2014 Exhibition News Awards.
The Northampton-based company provides facilities to some of the nation’s top events, exhibitions and sporting occasions including RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Farnborough International Air Show, RHS Hampton Court Flower Show and the Open Golf Championship.
On this occasion the panel of judges were particularly impressed by Neptunus’ innovative work at a number of world-class events including last summer’s Masterpiece London and last autumn’s Frieze Art Fair and Frieze Masters.
In less than two weeks, Neptunus constructed an impressive entrance and erected two of its innovative Evolution structures in the South Grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea for Masterpiece London to showcase £1billion of art, antiques and design.
Elsewhere world-leading art fair organiser Freize required 40,000sqm exhibition space built in just 15 days to accommodate Frieze Art Fair and Frieze Masters on the protected and historic Regent’s Park, London.
This latest achievement follows hot on the heels of the company’s success at last month’s 2014 Event Production Awards which saw Neptunus scoop the prestigious ‘Best Structure Company’ accolade.
Neptunus’ Managing Director April Trasler said: “It’s fantastic that our industry peers are recognising our tremendous progress since we re-launched our UK operation four years ago and our significant growth in the past 18 months. These successes also recognise the efforts of the entire Neptunus team to provide our clients with first-class facilities and first-class service.”
The judges will be making their final decision at International Confex next week (12-13 March) at London’s Olympia where Neptunus will be exhibiting at stand C60.
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner on the evening of 3 April at ExCeL London.
