Monday, March 3
Foot Care clinic is held on Mondays. Call (608) 837-4611 to make an appointment with George Daniels, RN.
Tuesday, March 4
Jean will be serving up a fat Tuesday (Marchdi Gras) meal in the dining room today. The menu will include jambalaya, okra, corn bread and fruit. Sign up in the main office or call (608) 837-4611 by Monday, March 3 at noon. Cost of the meal is $7.50 for those under 60 and a suggested minimum donation of $4, or pay what you can afford, for those 60 or older.
Wednesday, March 5
Have the library come to you! Did you get an eReader for Christmas but it’s still in the box? Or maybe you are thinking of getting one but just aren’t sure how easy it would be to use? Call Snow at (608) 837-4611 to make a free appointment with a Dane County library representative who will come to the Colonial Club and help you setup the device and show you how to download free books.
Thursday, March 6
Join us at 1 p.m. for bingo and birthday cake. We celebrate the birthdays for the month with a cake sponsored this month by Lighthouse of Sun Prairie. Our generous sponsor for bingo is Aster Retirement Community in Cottage Grove.
Friday, March 7
Colonial Club relies on the help of our many expert volunteers. Volunteer Computer Tutor Andrew will be in the computer lab at 8 a.m. to help anyone needing a little guidance or having questions about using a computer. Drop in and he will be happy to help.
Upcoming Trip
Costa Rica – Nov. 8-16, 2014. Experience lush forests, stunning waterfalls and exotic wildlife in the sunny and warm country of Costa Rica and take a riverboat excursion where you will see crocodiles, river otters, sloths and rare butterflies.
