After four years and several attempts to repurpose the former Weyerhaeuser school building, the Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Area School District Board of Education voted Monday night, Feb. 24, to list the property with a real estate agent.

The building will be listed with Charles Feather, an agent with Coldwell Banker, at an asking price of $479,000. This price would include all buildings along with the entire site. At the same time, Feather would also search for a buyer for the nine garage bays and warehouse with the agreement that the buyer of the school would have first right to purchase them.
