The Hamburg Township Library will present a free film series in March and April as part of the 2014 Livingston Reads program. “The Butler: A Witness to History” by Wil Haygood is the this year’s community reading selection.
The film schedule includes:
• “The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman,” March 5 at 6:30 p.m.
• “My Man Godfrey,” March 12 at 6:30 p.m.
• “The Remains of the Day,” March 19 at 6:30 p.m.
• “Driving Miss Daisy,” March 26 at 6:30 p.m.
• “Corrina, Corrina,” April 2 at 6:30 p.m.
• “Sabrina” (1954 version), April 9 at 6:30 p.m.
• “The Butler,” April 16 at 1 p.m.
• “The Long Walk Home,” April 23 at 6:30 p.m.
• “The Butler,” April 30 at 6:30 p.m.
The library, 10411 Merrill Road, will also hold book discussions at 1 p.m. April 2 and at 6:30 p.m. April 16.

Motorcycle group gathers Thursday
The Howell Chapter D-2 GWRRA Gold Wing Riders motorcycle group will meet for dinner and social time at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Lucky’s Steak House in Fenton. Those interested in joining the group are welcome to attend.
Additional gatherings will be at 6:30 p.m. March 6 at Mikey’s Burgers in Brighton, 6:30 p.m. March 20 at Cracker Barrel in Genoa Township and 6:30 p.m. March 27 at R.J.’s Grill in Hamburg Township.
The chapter will begin its weekly motorcycle road trips later in the spring.

Reception set for Concours sponsors
Love In the Name of Christ of the Greater Livingston Area will host a reception for sponsors of the annual Le Concours de Livingston from 6-8 p.m. March 27 at Lingenfelter Motor Sports, 7819 Lochlin Drive in Green Oak Township.
