Artisan brand Hans Sloane has secured the first supermarket listing for its premium chocolate drinking beans.
Tesco is rolling out three SKUs – smooth milk, rich dark (rsp: £4.99/270g) and a new natural honey variant (rsp: £5.99) – to about 415 stores. The chocolate beans need to be melted in hot milk.
The move follows “significant” investment last year to step up production and reduce pack sizes to hit lower prices.
