1. St Andrew’s Church was built circa 1100 and boasts a Royal charter dating from 1165. It forms part of the Parish of Billing with All Saint’s Little Billing and The Ark.
2. Quinton House School is situated in the Grade I listed building, Upton Hall. The hall dates back to the medieval period with many alterations taking place in the sixteenth and seventeenth century.
3. Sessions House is in the centre of Northampton. Built in 1675, it is one of the finest provincial courthouses in England. The court moved in 1993, and the building was empty until 2010. It is now a visitor centre.
4. The Northampton Cross (or Eleanor cross) is still standing at the edge of Delapre Abbey. Crosses were originally erected between 1291-94 in memory of King Edward I’s wife Eleanor marking her funeral procession from Lincoln to London.
5. The Church of St George was built by the Bidun family, lords of the manor of Wootton in 1265, in Wootton village It is dedicated to Saint George the Martyr and is older than Westminster Abbey.
