Forest Grove Fire Rescue is celebrating its 120th birthday with a party today from 4 to 6 p.m. at the fire station at 1919 Ash Street. The party includes kids’ activities and local author Ken Bilderback will talk local history. Food will be provided.
I’m gearing up to write about Theatre in the Grove’s performance of “August: Osage County.” It opens Friday. Feb 28, and I’m curious: are you planning to see it? It’s known for dark humor and has a lot of controversial themes, including drug abuse and incest. (Here’s a summary, but there are spoilers.)
