Field hockey National Letter of Intent signings delayed; college-bound players … – The Patriot

Wednesday was supposed to be a day of celebration for the midstate’s top upperclassmen field hockey players. Throughout the day, locals were to be signing their National Letters of Intent to play at Division I or Division II colleges.

Snow, ice and freezing rain throughout the region closed schools and postponed the signing events, but even the harsh winter does not change the realities of the players’ success or their college choices.

Listed below are the local field hockey players who will be signing NLIs for Division I and II in the coming days, as reported to PennLive by their coaches or athletic directors. Also included are seniors who will be playing in Division III next fall. There are no NLIs for Division III programs.
