The jobs they’re looking to fill are for center sales and service associate and bilingual center sales and service associate. Both positions will include training which begins in February. According to a news release, wages start at $10.50/hour to start with increases every six months until reaching the top of the wage scale. They say top performers can earn over $1,000/month in commissions. The events will be held on Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 1. Then again Wednesday, February 5 and Thursday, February 6. All hiring fairs will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 20 East Thomas Road in downtown Phoenix. You MUST apply online before attending one of the events at www.centurylink.jobs and bring a copy of your resume. Another job fair coming up caters to military veterans and their spouses. It is being produced by RecruitMilitary in cooperation with the American Legion and over 300 job seekers are expected to attend. We’re giving you plenty of time to prepare as this event will be held Thursday, February 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale. According to a news release, some of the companies expected to be attending include USAA, Waste Management, Lockheed Martin, G4S Secure Solutions, Verizon Communications, The Kroger Co. and Bank of America.
A third job fair is being held this week by St. Luke’s Behavioral Health Center . It will be held in the auditorium at 1800 East Van Buren Street from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Positions being hired are for registered nurses, psych techs, quality coordinator RN, social services therapist, occupational therapist and activity therapist. You’re asked to park in the front parking lot and walk up the ramp to the SLBH main entrance and follow the signs to the SLBH Auditorium.
