Fenland District Council has been shortlisted for a prestigious Local Government Chronicle (LGC) Award, one of only a handful of District Councils in the country to be shortlisted.
The LGC received more than 640 entries and 80 have reached the final.
Fenland District Council is one of eight organisations, and the only District Council to be shortlisted for the “Efficiency” award.
Those on the shortlist will be making presentations to the panel of judges later this month, with the winners due to be announced at an awards ceremony in London on 12 March.
Cllr Alan Melton, Leader of Fenland District Council, said: “It is very positive that the good work of our members and officers has been recognised.”
