Upcoming The Last of Us DLC pack Left Behind may be released on February 14.
That’s according to an updated Sony Entertainment Network product listing, as well as the PS3 store advert for the DLC, which was spotted by NeoGAF user LittleToaster.
Naughty Dog originally said Left Behind was planned for release “around the December-January timeframe”. CVG has contacted Sony for clarification regarding the company’s DLC launch plans.
Left Behind is a single-player, story-based add-on which takes place while Ellie is attending a military boarding school in the Boston quarantine zone, prior to meeting Joel and the events of The Last of Us.
On Monday, Sony released a new Left Behind trailer and promised “much more about what to expect from Left Behind later this week”.
We said in our The Last of Us review: “The Last of Us is a remarkable achievement, and one of those rare games that you never want to end as you approach the finale. It tells a moving story that will linger in your mind long after the credits have rolled, but never loses sight of the fact that it’s a video game, not a film. It’s a masterful marriage of storytelling and game design, and easily Naughty Dog’s finest moment.”
