EventServ, a Siteserv company specialising in the supply of infrastructure for the events sector, had two events listed in the Top Ten Structures of 2013. The two structures were The Walled City Tattoo held in Ebrington Square, Derry and the opening ceremony for the World Police and Fire Games, Belfast. Event Industry News, an online event magazine, and Pitman’s People, managed staffing solutions for the events industry, launched a campaign to find the top ten most innovative and impressive temporary structures of 2013.

Both events effectively demonstrated the quality work and infrastructure provided by EventServ. For the opening ceremony of the World Police and Fire Games held in Belfast, the company were contracted to deliver a full package of event infrastructure. The event is the third largest international multi-sport in the world and the largest ever sporting event to take place in Northern Ireland. The contract included the design and installation of a range of temporary event structures which transformed the site into a temporary events arena at the Kings Hall complex, Belfast. The arena comprised of 8,000 tiered seats and staging for a concert.
Similarly, EventServ were an official delivery partner to The Walled City Tattoo event. This event formed an inaugural part of the 2013 City of Culture celebrations. EventServ’s contract was to design and install a range of temporary event structures which became a temporary events arena in Ebrington Square. The arena comprised of 3,998 tiered seats built in three seating rigs.
