The struggling Minnesota Vikings will be entering Sunday’s match up against the Seattle Seahawks will at least a little bit of promising news. Wide receiver Greg Jennings is listed as probably for week 11. According to ESPN,
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Greg Jennings, who was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday because of a strained Achilles tendon, is probable to play on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.
“He’s pretty sore and just backed off the work today,” coach Leslie Frazier said. “(We wanted to) give him another day to get ready for Sunday.”
Jennings’ presence could be particularly important if the Vikings decide not to start receiver Jerome Simpson, who was arrested last Saturday for drunken driving. Frazier said Simpson would play, but did not disclose whether he would start.
Having Jennings in the lineup would be a good thing for Minnesota, despite his poor performances this season. He adds another outside threat at the least, regardless of who’s under center.
The Vikings will look to get a win against an former teammate, Percy Harvin. Harvin was traded from Minnesota to Seattle late last season, and will be making his debut with his new team against none other than his old team.
