An 11,237-square-foot mansion on Fox Ridge in Lodi Township and a three-bedroom home on Meadow Creek with “stunning views” of the Huron River in Ann Arbor Township are among the county’s most expensive homes for sale right now.
The 11,237-square-foot home at 5035 Fox Ridge is being marketed as “5 acres of heaven” by Real Estate One agent Betsy Lovell-Blackmon.
“Built in 2000, but updated with new kitchen and family room in country French style,” the listing says. “Professionally decorated throughout.”
A home on Corrie in the Barton Hills neighborhood in Ann Arbor Township listed for $1.649 million ranks as the 4th most expensive home on the market in the county right now.
“It’s a fabulous renovated Tudor, and the current owners came in and renovated the kitchen, the bedrooms, the bathroom and put in heated floors and kept it in line with the 1920s style,” said listing agent Lisa Stelter of Reinhart. “They kept the vintage styling and redid everything.”
The market for high-end homes is slowly gaining speed in the Ann Arbor area, with 11 sales of $1 million-plus homes so far in 2013 and two homes under contract. That compares to six $1 million-plus home sales in 2011, and 13 sales in 2012.
High-end homes are also sitting on the market for a shorter period of time; So far in 2013, the average number of days on the market for $1 million-plus homes is 76. That compares to 113 days in 2012 and 128 days in 2011.

14091 Scio Church in Lima Township: This four-bedroom, 3,561-square-foot home in Lima Township is listed for $2.9 million. It’s being marketed as “one of the finest equestrian estates in southeast Michigan” with stables and an indoor arena. The home was built in 1999.
5035 Fox Ridge in Lodi Township: An 11,237-square-foot home in Lodi Township is listed for $2.6 million and is being marketed as “5 acres of heaven.” The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home has two fireplaces, a pool with a waterfall, a batting cage and a theater room. The home last sold in February 2010 for $2.1 million and it has a 2013 assessed value of $876,100.
390 Meadow Creek in Ann Arbor Township: A five-bedroom home on Meadow Creek in Ann Arbor Township is listed for $2.5 million. The house — which has a 2013 assessed value of $900,020 — has an exercise room, 1/2 basketball court, greenhouse, indoor pool and putting green.
225 Corrie in Ann Arbor Township: This 4,782-square-foot, six-bedroom home sits on 6.91 acres in the Barton Hills neighborhood in Ann Arbor Township. It’s listed for $1.649 million and was renovated in 2010-2012, according to marketing materials.
485 Barton North Drive in Ann Arbor Township: This 3,749-square-foot Barton Hills home in Ann Arbor Township sits on 3.5 acres and is listed for $1.495 million. It has four bedrooms, solid cherry doors and cherry floors, and “panoramic views,” according to the listing. It has a 2013 assessed value of $585,400.
