The F1 2014 World Championship calendar could feature as many as 21 races next season according to a draft version leaked ahead of this weekend’s Italian Grand Prix.

Three new events are listed, namely in Austria, Russia and Mexico, although the latter two are still subject to confirmation. The event in Korea is also included only provisionally.

New Jersey, which was postponed until 2014 some twelve months ago, and which has been the subject of recent speculation again, is not on the draft, even though the organiser Leo Hindery Jr insisted he was confident it would happen less than a week ago.

Like has become the norm, the 2014 season is due to kick off in Australia, with the British Grand Prix returning to July – a week later than in 2013 – and the season concluding again in Brazil on November 30. The dates for all the returning events are all more or less the same as this season, with the exception of Korea, which has been moved from October to April, now included as part of the opening flyaway events.

The race in Austria will take place on June 22, with Russia and Mexico pencilled in respectively for October 19 and November 9.

India is dropped and slated to return in 2015, as reported back in July.
