In the works since 1999, a 14-unit townhouse development in the southeast corner on Mountlake Terrace is finally taking shape, with buildings going up and potential homeowners getting tours of the project.

The Brook Glen townhouses, 23811 Cedar Way, are being built by Landsverk Quality Homes of Lynnwood and marketed by Windermere Real Estate. The first seven townhouses listed, all 1,620 square feet with three bedrooms and 2.5 baths, range in price from $299,900 to $309,900.

The first townhouses on the five-acre site are expected to be completed in October, with a couple more scheduled to be finished in November — and one of them has already had an offer made on it, said Windermere buyer’s agent Amber Kelgey.

Windermere has scheduled open houses for the project each weekend in September, noon – 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. More information about the townhouses is available at their website.
