The annual guns-for-items event will be held at various locations across Central Florida on Thursday.
The no-questions-asked Kicks 4 Guns event is aimed at getting unwanted weapons out of circulation.
Participants get such items as gift cards, sneakers or gas cards, depending on the location, in exchange for donated firearms.
Most buybacks are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
