The latest figures from BizBuySell.com said 166 Sacramento-area businesses were listed for sale in the second quarter. That’s the highest total since the first quarter of 2009, when 190 were listed.
Small-business sales came out of the recessionary deep freeze this spring, according to a new tally.
BizBuySell.com, a San Francisco-based online marketplace for business sales, said 166 Sacramento-area businesses were listed for sale in the second quarter. That’s the highest total since the first quarter of 2009, when 190 were listed.
The median asking price was $209,000 – about the same as in previous recent quarters.
BizBuySell said business sales closed recently included a Folsom restaurant and bar, for $90,000, and a Sacramento auto repair shop, for $1.2 million.
