After suffering back-to-back relegations, it’s easy to see why there won’t be too many teams interested in taking a few members of the Wolves playing staff.

So one fan of the West Midlands club has come up with a plan to clear out the Molineux dead wood – by putting a player up for sale on ebay.

Jamie O’Hara was listed on the internet auction site with the seller so keen to get rid of the former Tottenham midfielder they listed free shipping as well as offering to drive him to the winning bidder.

The auction that started at 99p is thought to be a response to claims by the 26-year-old that he still considers himself to be a Premier League player and wants to leave the club.

O’Hara was signed by Wolves for £5m from Spurs when the club were still in the top flight in 2011, but has struggled to produce the same level of performances he enjoyed in an earlier loan spell at Molineux.

Bids reached as high as £153,900 for O’Hara, easy triggering the £1.50 clause in which the seller also promised to throw fellow flop Roger Johnson in as part of the deal before the auction was taken off the site.

It may have proven to be O’Hara’s best chance of leaving the club, as new Wolves boss Kenny Jackett has confirmed there has been little interest in the midfielder.

‘I’m fairly certain we are not at any advanced stage with any club where anybody is phoning regularly about him or anybody else.’

Jamie O’Hara is a funny old spud; at what point do you wake up in League One and think “…I am amazing, I am the Messi of the Midlands, what am I doing here…” then have the idiotic lack of grace and wisdom to go on a radio show and pronounce to the uncaring universe that you are still a top flight star; a diamond disguised as a spud. Even Kenny Jackett said “..no one rang, well his mum did to say he left his boots in the toilet, but apart from that and some guy trying to sell me electricity, its been quiet…” Oh ha Rah, we all laughed lovely like. This is exactly what is wrong with ‘SUPER AMAZING WORLD CLASS MEGA STAR PLAYERS’, clearly O’Hara is possibly on par with Cristiano Ronaldo, I mean clearly O’Hara belongs at Barcelona or Real Madrid, but Wolves rather naughtily tricked him into signing for them. But he got them back, he rather cunningly helped get them relegated TWICE! That’ll show’em, well done Jamie, they’ll think twice before playing you again! Loved only by himself

No the auction was cancelled because eBay said it’s against their human body parts policy lol
It was never a serious thing but more of a tongue in cheek laugh 🙂 The end of auction fee would have been massive so kind of glad it got pulled 🙂

Believe me there is an absolute fleet of vehicles in Wolverhampton who would take O’Hara wherever he wants to go, just so long as he doesn’t come back……..

Wouldn’t a listing for Steve Morgan be better seeing as how he’s much more culpable for Wolves sliding down the divisions than O’Hara ever will be? Are all Wolves fans this myopic?

Still the auction figure will not enough to pay for his ever so talented Mrs year numerous holidays.

I didn’t expect the auction to make big news when I listed it. Just fed up of O’Hara saying he wants to leave.
