A children’s bookcase company has been selected as a finalist in the Federation of Small Businesses London region awards.
Based in The Hiltongrove Business Centre, Hatherley Mews, Tidy Books’ work making children’s bookcases has already seen the business take home numerous accolades.
This year saw it win Best Retailer in the Waltham Forest Business Awards while last year saw it win the London European Regional Development Fund Award for Innovation.
CEO Geraldine Grandidier said: “Looking at the Federation of Small Businesses shortlist we’re delighted to be in such fantastic company.
“Tidy Books has an exciting future as an international business and winning this award would give us a great boost.”
Geraldine designed a bookcase for her daughter in her violin maker’s workshop in 2004 and set up the business with £500.
Tidy Books, now seeking investment, has grown by 40 per cent in the last three years and is stocked in John Lewis and Amazon US.
The winner of the award will be announced on June 27.
