Amazon is now listing a September 3rd Blu-ray and DVD release for From Up on Poppy Hill, the 2011 Studio Ghibli nostalgic shoujo manga adaptation, directed by Goro Miyazaki and co-written by his father Hayao.
The DVD is marked for $29.95, while the Blu-ray is listed at $34.95.
Poppy Hill was first first-run Ghibli movie to hit North America from GKids and marks a departure from Disney’s relationship with the studio. Cinedigm will be distributing the home video releases.
