A church in Wiltshire has been put up for sale following its closure in 2011 after its congregation declined.

Salisbury Diocese has put the Grade II-listed St Paul’s Church in Staverton on the market with an asking price of between £50,000, and £100,000.

The sale is being handled by Colliers Estate Agents in Bristol, which believes the most likely buyers will be a community group.

It is listed as being of special architectural and historic interest.

The churchyard will not be closed and people will still be able to get to the gravestones.
