Award-winning playwright Anna, 34, of Preston Park, is founder and co-director of Broken Leg Theatre, deputy director for New Writing South and mother to toddler, Nancy.
She said: “It’s a really honour to be shortlisted in for the awards, especially in the Writer category. I hope people enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it.”
Maddie Sinclair, 37 of Hollingdean, has been nominated in the ‘Fresh Voice’ category.
Maddie freelances as a proof-reader and writer when she is not looking after her two children, Callum (Gammon) and Freya (Chips).
Maddie said: “I started writing Gammon and Chips as a way for my family in Australia to keep track of our lives in the UK.
“So many funny little things happen in the world of parenting that are worth documenting, no matter how small. I hope my blog informs other families out there and also amuses.”
Anna and Maddie will both be blogging for the Brighton Fringe throughout May.
