Jersey’s Guy Thompson, Nottingham’s Tim Streather and Leeds’ Stevie McColl have been nominated for the RFU Championship Player of the Year award.
Former England Sevens flanker Thompson has scored seven tries in his 19 starts in his first season in the league.
Winger Streather, 24, has already agreed a deal to
join Premiership side Saracens for next season.
And full-back McColl has been an integral part of Carnegie’s run to the Championship play-offs.
The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on 22 May.
“We have some exceptional talent in the Championship,” said Championship clubs’ chairman Geoff Irvine.
“You need only look at the England players who have passed through the league to see that.
“I’m sure whoever wins the award on May 22 will have an equally bright future ahead.”
