ROSELAND, NJ – The Roseland Free Public Library has many programs throughout the month of April geared for children as young as two and up through school age kids. “Preschool Storytimes,” crafts and cooking during “Kids’ Creative Corner Wednesdays,” pet rock painting and an Earth Day community garden project are all in store this month. All of the occasions listed below are free and open to the public, not just residents of Roseland. The library offers “Preschool Storytime” every Tuesday throughout the month. It’s available at 10am, 11:30am, 2pm and 3:30pm for toddlers and preschoolers age two and older. Gather at the library for some stories and songs along with learning center activities which give kids the opportunity to practice letters, numbers, patterns, and writing their names. Story themes will vary from week to week and no pre-registration is required. See below for themes.

On Wednesdays the library offers “Kids’ Creative Corner Wednesdays” which gives children the opportunity to work on a new craft each week. Little ones, age two and older, are invited for the morning session at 11:30am, and older children are invited to participate at 3:30pm.
