A HI-TECH Port Talbot business has been recognised for developing a system to bring dignity to the process of going to the toilet for people who are bed- bound.
Quantum CAD is a finalist in the Most Innovative Product of the Year category in the ESTnet awards which recognise the contribution technology businesses make to the Welsh economy.
The company has been nominated for Project Dignity which is a piece of equipment designed to accommodate toilet waste from bed-bound individuals in a dignified and controlled manner for use in a sterile environment.

The ESTnet awards will see technology and electronics companies from across Wales including the Sony UK Technology Centre at Pencoed, Quantum Cad, Hayakawa and General Dynamics vying to win one of six awards at the ceremony on Thursday at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff.
ESTnet chair Ian Menzies said: “There is a real wealth of talent in the industry in Wales and we have a great opportunity with the ESTnet awards programme to raise the profile of the sector and celebrate its achievements.
